Mithun Purandare

Hi Mithun Purandare, (born May 29th 1981) is an Indian actor, model, fitness expert, and entrepreneur. Mithun is a highly determined individual with a strong work ethic. He was born in Mumbai and currently resides in Goa & Mumbai. Mithun has studied Textile Engineering, played state-level cricket, been a Mr. India top finalist, and is a martial arts enthusiast. He is also an ISSA Certified (USA) Fitness & Nutrition Expert. He has recently released a music video called "Shankara" where he plays a Sadhu who turns into Lord Shiva. He has also starred in Ram Gopal Verma's film "Dangerous" as an abusive husband and Veer Das's new web series, which is yet to be released. Both projects were filmed in Goa, where Mithun has his own fashion brand and coffee bar called "ALIAUM" in Anjuna. From Bollywood to International Films, Mithun has starred in "Mumbai Godfather" alongside actress Seema Biswas. He was last seen in the 2020 film "Darbar," starring Rajnikanth and Sunil Shetty, directed by A.R Murugadoss, where he played a gangster. Mithun is currently working on his next film, where he will be the lead character. His first international and award-winning debut was an English comedy short film called "Day Trip to London," written & directed by Annabell Herbert. He won the Best Actor Award at [NIFF2014]. Mithun also has a strong passion for theatre and has performed in musicals such as "Hyacinth," where he played the Greek God Apollo, showcased at Prithvi Theatre alongside Makarand Deshpande, Trishla Patel, and Sandip Soparkar. He has also featured in numerous music videos like "Rakh Hausla" released on Zee Music, "Shankara," "Chup Chup Khade Ho" by Jagdish Mali- Times Music, "Phu Bai Phu" by Sanjay - Krunal Music, and "Pyaar" directed by Radhika Rao & Vinay Sapru for R-Vision. Mithun has acted in TV commercials for brands like Amul Butter, HDFC Bank, Blackberry's (Latest trend of hairstyles), Tata Indicom, Times of India (Delhi), Deccan Chronicle, Gyms, Fitness videos, and many others.
