Murry Crowe
Murry is the inventor of the Mojo spinning wing duck decoy. He is a treasure hunting enthusiast and history expert. He was born in Delhi, Louisiana. As a young boy he would ride his bike and hunt Indian Relics at Poverty Point. He found all sort of Indian Artifacts that were eventually donated to the museum. Poverties Point is now a World Heritage Site. He graduated college from LSU. Married his wife Sheila Collins in 1971 while still attending LSU. He majored in AG business and graduated with a BS. Joined the family farming business after graduation. They mostly raised cotton. The family also owned a cotton gin. Once leaving farming behind he started a hunting business which he and his partners called Huntwise. He invented the spinning wing duck decoy along with all the other products that they offered. He has been an avid hunter for his whole life. He loves to work on and restore cars. He has raced in just about all mediums that there are. Dirt track, drag racing, tractor pulling. He also obtained his pilot license and loved to fly his ultra light airplane over the Mississippi River. He also would crop-dust his farms . Murry also is a gunsmith and long range shooter. Having won numerous matches at his shooting club. He started metal detecting in 1971 and has continued to this day. Inventing things to help him along the way.
