Mylène Farmer was born on September 12, 1961 in Montréal, Québec, Canada as Marie-Hélène Jeanne Gauthier. She moved to Paris in her early twenties, to pursue a career in singing. Her 1984 breakout song was "Maman a tort'. She is known for her work on Arthur and the Invisibles (2006), A Good Year (2006) and Mylène Farmer: Libertine (1986) and a lot of other musical hits.
