Míriam Iscla
Míriam Iscla is a Catalan actress best known for the role of "Diana" in the Catalan sitcom called Jet Lag (2001).
Having finished her studies as an actress at the Institute de Teatre de Barcelona in 1992, she and four of her classmates founded T de Teatre. Iscla was a member for 17 years. During this period of time the company created its own style and became very popular in and outside of Catalonia. In 2008, after the critically and publicly acclaimed play by Javier Daulte 'Com pot ser que t'estimi tant?', Míriam left the company and continued her career as a freelancer. Since then, she has worked with several well-known Catalan directors such as Lluís Pasqual or Sergi Belbel. She's recently played the role of Amanda in the 'The Glass Menagerie' by Tennessee Williams directed by Josep Maria Pou.
Though she's mainly a stage actress, she guest-starred in several Spanish and Catalan TV shows and book adaptations.
Míriam Iscla is one of the leading ladies of Catalan Theater today.
