Pablo D'Alo Abba
Pablo D'Alo Abba Born in 1975 in Argentina - Director, producer, screenwriter and musician. He graduated from the Professional School of Cinematography of Eliseo Subiela and received a degree in production and direction of radio and television at the University of Belgrano. He studied acting direction and staging with Augusto Fernández.
He began his career working as an assistant director in the most important production companies in Buenos Aires. In 2005 he began directing advertising and video clips, filming projects for Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Hungary, Russia, Turkey and the United States.
He was the director, producer and scriptwriter of the documentary film "Vienen por el oro vienen por todo", winner of the best film in thirteen festivals in Europe and Latin America, selected in more than eighty film festivals including IDFA, Hot Docs, Trieste Festival, Toulouse, Ourense, Seoul among others. He co-wrote the feature film "Por un tiempo" directed by Gustavo Garzón, released in 2013. He was in charge of the feature film department of the Peluca Films production company, developing fiction projects, supervising scripts of national directors and making feature film production services for the United States and Europe.
In January 2017, he premiered as a producer the feature-length documentary "Dhaulagiri, Acesenso a la montaña blanca", the winning project of several festivals around the world and one of the most watched documentaries of the year in theaters. In October of 2017 he premiered "Mater" his first fiction feature film based on the play by Claudio Tolcachir "El viento en un violin" film selected in the most importants LGBT film festivals and won best film in India and Ecuador.
