Pamela Daly
Pamela Daly was born and raised in the tiny town of Brooks, Minnesota, the 4th child of Marc and Connie (Kiewel) Parenteau. She is of French Canadian ancestry. She graduated from Oklee High School in 1982. With a Theatre Arts degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead, she moved to Florida, where she began working at the Actor's Repertory Theatre in West Palm Beach. She moved to Ohio in 1988, where she appeared in regional theater and television productions, including Taming of the Shrew, Macbeth, Endgame, The Gift of the Magi, Singing in the Rain, Beauty and the Beast, A Thousand Cranes, Romeo and Juliet, Someone's Been Sleeping in my Bed, and Rumpelstiltskin. It was there that she met her future husband Michael Daly. The couple were married in 1990 and have three boys. With the twin challenges of motherhood and grueling work schedules, Pamela took a 17-year hiatus from acting to be a full-time mom. She homeschooled her three children. Pamela emerged from retirement when her middle son expressed interest in acting. She began splitting time between Ohio and California in 2007. She is also an acting teacher and tours with her one-woman play Sanger.
