Patricia Hastie
Patricia Hastie was born in Sacramento, California, into a large Irish family. She is the second youngest of 9 children of James and Dolores Kelly. Patti Hastie was spotted by a modeling agent as a teen and had a successful modeling career in New York and Tokyo. Upon returning home, she married, started her family and relocated to Hawaii with her husband and children. After raising her family, she began to look towards her original passion, an acting career. Patti studied acting at "The Academy of Film and Television" in Honolulu and started going to all the auditions that came her way. She quickly landed extra work and several roles that were being filmed in Hawaii, among them were Lost (2004) (TV series), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) and The Descendants (2011). Patricia Hastie went to great extremes, playing Matt King's (George Clooney) comatose wife, "Elizabeth King", in The Descendants (2011). Alexander Payne, "The Descendants" film's director said, regarding Patricia's performance, that even when not on camera, her presence is felt throughout the film.
Patricia Hastie now shares her time between Los Angeles and Hawaii.
