Patrizia Cavaliere
Growing up in a working-class suburb near Cologne in Germany, Patrizia lived in a world where her artistic aspirations weren't encouraged and supported. Neither by her family nor her friends. Being asked to perform in a school musical production of "The Jungle Book" at the age of 11 in the role of "Mowgli", she fell in love with performing and knew that's the life she wanted to live. She took on roles in smaller theatres in and around Cologne and prepared to audition at Drama Schools with Anita Ferraris. 2002 she moved to Berlin where she signed with a Talent Agent. At a TV shoot with the acclaimed German Director Sigi Rothemund, she was just an extra but he gave her a few lines and that lead to working for all major German TV channels in supporting roles and episode leading roles. Through a chat with a taxi driver, he introduced her to Eleonore Zetzsche, a famous German theatre actress who worked with Bertolt Brecht. She became her Mentor and trained her privately and free of charge for one year. Self-scrutinising work and relentless pursuit brought her together with acclaimed Jewish filmmaker Lior Shamriz for his feature film A Low Life Mythology (2012). The movie run at the Berlin Film Festival and the Jewish Film Festival. After 9 years living in Berlin, she wanted to experience a different kind of world than the one she lived in once again and after visiting New York City as a tourist, she decided to live there. She soon met her third mentor Ric Klass who introduced her to the industry and helped her become a member of the "Ensemble Studio Theater". She took courses at the T.Schreiber Theater Studio and performed at the Gloria Maddox Theater in Shakespeare plays among other shows. Hurtful experiences made her consider quit acting and to gain a new perspective about life, she spent 2 years in her hometown Cologne in Germany and worked at the "Shepheard Bar", one of the best mixology bars in Germany. She created a drink called "Scottish Farewell" which made the first place at the Wenneker cocktail competition. After 2 years she rejoined the craft of acting and moved to London. She dared the commitment of full time studying and just completed her BA (Hons) Acting at the London College of Music. She signed with her commercial agency Northbridge Talent and is currently working on her first project as an actress and writer.
