Patti Schellhaas

Born in Minneapolis, MN, her father was a draftsman and her mother a registered nurse. The family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, when she was 6 years old. Patti continued Middle school at Azalea, and was a Majorette. In 9th grade, she attended Boca Ciega High School, was in Band, and nominated to be on the Homecoming Court. For grades 10-12, Patti transferred to Northside Christian High School and was again nominated to be on the Homecoming Court. She was in Chorus, played the Oboe in Symphonic Band, and the Bells (as well as the Xylophone) in Marching Band. In her Senior Year, she was chosen to be on the National Honor Society, and was voted "Business Student of the Year". After receiving her Associate of Arts degree in Miami, FL, she became a Cosmetologist, managed 2 Hair Salons, and at one time was a makeup artist on location for Good Morning America. She and her siblings now own, and manage, the family business, Cottages by the Sea, in St. Croix, which is part of the US Virgin Islands. Married for 27 years to Mark, they raised 2 boys, and home-schooled them from 5th grade through to Graduation. They now reside in the NW Atlanta, GA area. Mark owns a business called, Little River Hot Rods.
