Paul Becker
Unlike most choreographers, Paul Becker began his choreography career at the young age of 19. Over the years, he has become one of the world's top choreographers, and for good reason. Considered to be a protégé; of the genius Kenny Ortega, Paul has collaborated with Mr.Ortega on several occasions, including when he choreographed the Ortega directed Jonas Brothers' concert World Tour as well as Disney's record breaking movie Descendants where they were nominated for a World Choreography Award in 2016.
Paul's journey does not stop at choreography. As a writer, director, and producer, he has crossed all platforms. After discovering his unique way of capturing musical stories, Barry Sonnenfeld made Paul the choreographer and co-director for all musical numbers in Netflix "A Series of Unfortunate Events" series starring Neil Patrick Harris. In the variety and live world, Paul directed and produced "Canada's Got Talent", directed the 2016 Pan Am Games closing ceremonies, Don Omar's King of Kings world tour, Kanye West, and more.. He wrote, directed, and choreographed a feature film titled "Breaking Brooklyn" starring Academy Award Winner Louis Gossett Jr in which Lionsgate acquired.. In 2019 Paul became the choreographer and episode director for the Netflix series "Julie and the Phantoms", in which Ortega is Executive producer and choreography partner.
