Penwah is an American actor-singer performer. She is not married and has one living son. She was born with performing in her blood; she is the great-niece of Maide Norman. She hails from Boston Massachusetts Penwah started performing in infancy, To her surprise, her Aunt Margie recently told her she was the infant in A Black Nativity! She was born June 7; that fall her mother Doris Whaley Langford had her on the stage. by the time she was 6 she was in Porgy and Bess Classically trained she studied full scholarships at prestigious art and music schools like The New England Conservatory, Berklee-Emerson, and the world-famous Inner-City Cultural Center in Los Angeles. Phynjuar left performing to raise her children, training and grooming several young brilliant talents along the way. Now she's back and better than ever. She writes, produces, and directs, but her number-one love is performing. She's a two-time AUDELCO award winner and three-time nominee for Best Actress. Stand-up comedy is also one of her passions. She says "God hasn't brought me this far to give up now."
