Prasad Gavandi

Prasad Gavandi, born 17th December 1967, is among the most well known celebrated directors of Hindi Tele Industry. Having worked with biggest production houses and famous series on Indian Television, Prasad is the most sought-for director to set up any big new show. He started his career as an assistant director to B. P. Singh (Producer, director and cinematographer of CID, Aahat) and worked as associate director with Santram Verma (director of Kahin Kissi Roz). If one has to name his 'niche' genre, he is multi-faceted. From Chakravartin Samrat Ashoka(Mega Historical) to K Street Pali Hill(Mega Thriller), from Madhubala(Romantic) to Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyan (Family Drama), from Saubhagyavati Bhava (Obsessive love story) to Qayamat ki Raat (Horror), he has done it all, and has taken each show to be a Mega Hit. His 2015-2016 Historical show, Chakravartin Samraat Ashoka became one of the most popular show on TV, has paved his way to be awarded with 'Best Director Award' by Golden Petal Awards 2018 also. He made his presence felt with the show K Street Pali Hill, which was a thriller and though it was a late night show, caught the eye balls of the viewers and show makers. His passion for his work is seen in portrayal of the characters and beautiful picturization of each and every scene. As a set up director, he dedicates a lot of time and effort in visualising and selecting perfect look for the set up as well as the characters. His technical knowledge of lighting and cinematography gives and edge over others.
