Rachel Mariam
Rachel Mariam is a French actress and writer based in London. As an actor, she worked with Academy Award nominated director Lenny Abrahamson for her role in BBC TV series 'Normal People', with Aisling Bea on TV Series 'This Way Up', and in Murder In Provence as Clemence Elliot. As a writer, her feature script 'Juliet Is Fine' placed in the top 10% of the 2020 & 2021 Academy Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship. The screenplay has also been selected to be a quarterfinalist in the 2020 ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship , a semi-finalist (Top 25 Feature Script) competing against Shia LeBoeuf (Honey Boy) in the 2020 Save The Cat Screenplay Challenge, and was a finalist in the 2021 PAGE Screenwriting Awards. Her TV pilot 'PANIC', also got selected as a quarterfinalist in the 2021 ScreenCraft TV Pilot Script Competition. She is developing new TV Pilot 'Inadequate' and new feature script 'Congratulations'. In 2022 she is looking to produce her short script 'The Commitment', a dramatic comedy about postpartum depression.
