Rafael Simón

Born in New York City of Venezuelan parents while they were pursuing their doctorate degrees in their individual fields; his father is an M.D. and Biochemist, and his mother a retired Ambassador and International Law Attorney. He grew up between New York, Caracas, Bethesda and Washington D.C. He attended the University of Maryland, where he studied anthropology and political science; and later began his actor's training at the National Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts, followed by the Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory (D.C.) and Casa del Teatro (Mexico City).
