Ralph Petrarca
Ralph Petrarca is an American actor and musician known for the movies Carla, Ripped! and The Closer. He has appeared in dozens of stage plays in New York City and regionally, as well as many TV shows, commercials, and feature films.
Ralph's interest in music began with classical piano studies at age 6; he is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music. Throughout high school years he played with several different rock bands in Rhode Island, at the same time continuing his classical piano study under Dr. Leslie Amper, at the prestigious Longy School of Music. After graduating from Berklee, he went on to work with the legendary Normandy Sound, Inc. Under his management, the company went on to produce over a dozen gold and platinum albums.
Ralph is also a founding member of Rhode Island R&B band The Ignitors. His music influences include Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Seth Justman, Bill Payne, and Chuck Leavelle.
He holds a BM from the Berklee College of Music, and an MFA from The Trinity Rep Conservatory.
