Ryan Panaligan
Ryan Allan Young was born in Denver, CO. He was always the tallest among his friends and family, and eventually ended up at 6'6".
In 2009 he moved to Los Angeles, and has since studied and performed improv at i.O. West, UCB and The Groundlings. In 2010 he started performing stand-up at various venues in LA, most notably The Comedy Store, but in 2011 he put stand-up on pause to pursue on-camera work.
As an actor, Ryan has starred in a handful of commercials, including one that was in Spanish for an American audience, and one that only aired in Japan. (He speaks Spanish, but not Japanese.) His first television appearance was alongside Lily Tomlin and Sam Waterston in "Grace and Frankie." He was put to the test in 2015, when he was cast as "The Thing in the Apartment" for CryptTV. It was the first of many roles playing terrifying creatures, which require between six to nine hours in a Special FX makeup chair.
In 2014 he discovered his passion for working behind the camera, and has since produced multiple web series and sketch videos. In 2017 he worked on the first Netflix docuseries "Made in Mexico" which launched in 190 countries, and was translated into 22 languages. He quickly discovered he had a knack for working in unscripted television, thanks in large part to his extensive improv experience.
