Ash Sakha is a motivated and passionate, Sydney based actor of Middle-Eastern Descent (Iranian) who also Speaks Fluent Farsi. His first step into the industry was taken at his local community centre at the age of 10 where he would explore the early stages of his craft. This ongoing fascination lead him to Studying at the Actors College of Theatre and Television, completing his Two-year Advanced Diploma in Stage and Screen. His Showcase production (The Dumb Waiter) Directed by Aarnee Neeme was held at the prestigious Belvoir St Theatre (Surry Hills). Ash started acting as a child in school plays and was always interested in working as an actor in some way or another. His mother was an extremely talented painter and poet and his father was a photographer and worked as a Wine salesman most of his life. His father appeared in an Episode of HBO's Da Ali G Show, giving a wine tasting to Ali G. A classic episode. Ash was drawn to acting and photography from an early age and pursued them both, far into adulthood. After a couple of years in Community College, he joined the U.S. Naval Reserves to become a Hospital Corpsman. In 1989, he moved to Chicago, IL where he began working on his acting career and studied at Improv Olympic, Victory Gardens Theatre, and Act One Studios for on camera studies in commercials and films. He also played Johnny Hooker in stage version of The Sting at the Beverly Theatre in Chicago. He worked as a Special Effects Assistant for Sokolowski-EFX, where he learned about using squibs and blowing up cars in downtown Chicago. Later, Ash went back to finish college at the University of Southern Mississippi where he study Theatre and Film. He moved to Los Angeles in the spring of 1998 to continue his acting pursuits. He landed an agent and shortly after, booked a National Commercial for Saturn VUE as the Rope Swing guy who crashed into the side of the Saturn Vue. As well as a National Lowe's commercial. He also appeared in ANGEL, The Guardian, Faith of My Fathers, As I Lay Dying, The Longest Ride, American Horror Story and NCIS-New Orleans.
