Aaliyah Muhammad

Aaliyah Muhammad is an American actress, best know for her character 'Renee' in Freeform's hit series 'Cruel Summer' (2021). Ms. Muhammad was born and raised in Dallas, Tx. She comes from a family of filmmakers: Her father, Arthur Muhammad/Jordan, is an American filmmaker, director and writer, best known for his movie 'Carter High' (2015), and her mother, Latoya Muhammad, is a casting director, best known for casting the movie 'Cater High' (2015). She is the middle child of three children: and even though her two siblings don't have much interest in the film industry, they both are still lovers of the arts and support her in every thing she does. Aaliyah appeared in her first project when she was two years old, and has been indulged in filmmaking ever since. She is currently working on a series called 'A Teachable Moment' (2021-Present) that she wrote, produced, directed and edited. She gained her popularity while playing 'Zoya' on Facebook Watch's 'Skam Austin' (2018-2019), however, she recently appeared in 'Infamous' (2020) starring Bella Thorne.
