Fairuza Balk
"Fairuza!" ("Turquoise" in Farsi), her father exclaimed as he saw her blue eyes: Fairuza Alejandra Balk had just been born on May 21, 1974 in Point Reyes, California. Her father, Solomon Ben Feldthouse, was a traveling musician originally from Idaho, and her mother, Cathryn Balk, was a belly dancer. Her parents split up soon after. Fairuza grew up just north of San Francisco, California on a commune-type ranch. Her mother later found work in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was there that Fairuza began her career at age 9 on the ABC special The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (1983). Two years later, she went to the United Kingdom where she attended the Royal Academy of Ballet, the Ramona Beauchamp Agency, and the Bush Davies Performing Arts School. Fairuza worked for the Walt Disney Company for a while; at 11, she was chosen from 1,200 girls to star as Dorothy in Return to Oz (1985). The next year she starred, prophetically enough, as The Worst Witch (1986) a harbinger of her breakout role in The Craft (1996) 10 years later. Fairuza and her mother remained in London until 1988, then went to Paris where the 15-year-old starred in Valmont (1989). The next year they returned to Vancouver and Fairuza enrolled in high school, but ended up doing correspondence courses after proving shy in class. Back in Hollywood she starred in a string of movies, including Gas Food Lodging (1992), for which she received an Independent Spirit Award for Best Actress. Following further television and film work, she achieved cult status with her starring role as a teenage witch in her breakout film, The Craft (1996). That year she also appeared in The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996), in which she did some belly-dancing and attracted the attention of Lancashire, England-born co-star David Thewlis. They did another movie together, American Perfekt (1997). Fairuza was also the love interest in the wildly-popular The Waterboy (1998) and had a major role in American History X (1998). With a half-dozen movies for 2000, Fairuza is much in demand. Her interests are writing poetry and stories, playing the guitar, singing (her main enjoyment), and dancing. She lives in Venice, California and has an apartment in New York City.

Faisal Al-Bdour
Characterized mainly by his versatile set of skills, Faisal Al-Bdour is an actor, TV presenter and a stand up comedian, who actually started out as a doctor after studying medicine at J.U.S.T Up until late 2018, although he was practicing medicine and treating people, he always felt the innate need to express himself in an unusual matter, that of a colorful behavior and talent that was totally uncharacteristic of the typical "doctor". At one point he made the decision to quit medicine and pursue a career in acting, and in order to do that, he enrolled into an Acting for Screen and TV training workshop, which gave him the basic applied knowledge and boosted his skill set to confidently go for auditions. Two weeks later he got his first role with Netflix, as the police officer in Messiah. Although he hadn't quit medicine just yet, the urge and need for acting and for him to pursue his lifelong dream grew stronger and bigger, to the point that it was either now or never! He then officially stopped practicing medicine and started a full time career in acting. 2019 was a good year for him, as he appeared in small roles in major films such as "The Allies" by Bassel Ghandour (known for Oscar winner "Theeb"), starring Munther Rayahneh, and "Daughters of Abdulrahman" by Zaid Abu Hamdan, starring Saba Mubarak. He landed the leading role in the successful short film "Station 49", which received critical acclaim for both the directing and cinematography, and the actors' performances. The small screen has seen him do comedy roles in a few series on local television and satellite TV stations as well. Early 2020 was looking promising as he had delivered 3 live stand up comedy shows by February, in addition to planning to move to Egypt for a more professional acting career, but the pandemic had hit hard by March, and had forced the country into a halt. After a hiatus for a few months, and when things started getting back to as much of a normal as one could call, he appeared in a comedy ensemble for TV and a few commercials here and there. Late 2020 was looking good for him as he appeared as coach "Bader" in the Palestinian/American short film "Touchline" which was shot in Jordan, and is due for release in 2021. As the wheel of the industry has begun turning and churning in early 2021, he has appeared in yet another Palestinian short film, the black comedy "A Gaza Weekend", which was surprisingly written over 10 years prior to the pandemic, and speaks of an alternative reality, which is set for release in late 2021 or early 2022. Ramadan will be seeing Faisal back to the small screen as well for comedy roles on various TV stations.

Faisal Al-Saja was born July 5, 1977 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is a full time professional actor based in the Middle East. His film career started in 2012 and since then he's acted in numerous films including the most expensive Chinese film ever made "Switch" starring Honk Kong's most respected actor Andy Lau. Switch was shot partially in Dubai and premiered globally in October 2013. He made his first American debut in the independent thriller "Freshwater" Starring Zoe Bell and veteran actor Joe Lando. Faisal is the only Saudi actor in Hollywood and only the second Saudi in history. A notable achievement considering the conservative nature of his country and its thirty million strong population. Before acting, Faisal spent ten years as a corporate banker in Saudi Arabia and Dubai. He has extensive knowledge in finance and management and holds a Bachelor of Arts In International Relations from the University of Hartford. His growing skill as an actor, along with his bilingual speaking abilities and business knowledge have made him one of the most unique talents in the region.
