In the mid-1970s, he became the first martial artist to compete in a kick-boxing match on Miami Beach. Fighting at the Miami Beach Convention Center on South Beach (The same center where Muhammad Ali defeated Sonny Liston for the World's Heavyweight Boxing Title), Roth ran up an impressive undefeated streak all by knockouts. He was "labeled" unbeatable, as he knocked out opponents throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. In 1983 he won a Muay-Thai Championship and soon after retired with a reported kickboxing record of of 17-2 with 17 knockouts. His legendary local-fame lead to a Hollywood contract, and a name change to Harold Diamond. But, to south Florida fans, he will always be "Nature Boy" Harold Roth, the greatest kick boxer in the state's history.

Harold started acting at the age of eleven and attended a local drama school. He has an interest in all fields of entertainment and in order to obtain his Equity card formed a professional self contained magical act, which included illusions and the famous 'catching the bullet' trick. He ran this alongside his theatre company which he toured over several years. This was interspersed with numerous TV and film roles. Working with many light entertainment stars, in comedic roles and also working with the late great Sir Alec Guinness and Sir Ralph Richardson. After working for years in the film industry he set up 24 Carrot Films to make independent films and has written and directed most of the slate they have produced. With his wife, a writer in her own right, they are in development of several pictures and he continues to work on both sides of the camera and on stage.
