Hayden is an Arts degree graduate from the University of Canberra, Australia, where he majored in creative writing and media production, and was the recipient of a diploma in Film Production from Vancouver Film School. During his years studying he completed varying forms of literature, from short stories to scripts (short & feature length); while also developing as a crew member, several short drama films and documentaries. Up to the present, Hayden has been heavily involved with and contributed to the production of more than 14 short films, directing seven of these, and has recently completed his feature length directorial debut on the drama film Burn Your Name (also acting as writer and producer). Hayden is presently expanding his skills and portfolio as a filmmaker through the development of three new feature length projects through his company WoodenBull Films, which he co-founded with Actor/Producer Justin Turnbull.
