Heather Hawthorn Doyle has made a name for herself as being a strong story-based director who brings her passion for creating beautiful visuals and grounded performances to every project. Heather takes pride in being asked back multiple times by the producers, production companies and broadcasters she works with. In the past year she's directed four Movies for Vancouver based Two4TheMoney, for both Hallmark and HMM including the romantic comedy "A Little Daytime Drama" starring Jen Lilley, Ryan Paevey and Linda Dana - a sendup of soap operas starring these three powerhouse former soap stars and "A Godwink Christmas: Miracle of Love" - the 4th in the series of true stories, Heather also directed the 3rd in the series) Heather has also worked with Sinking Ship Entertainment out of Toronto on three different television series "Dino Dana", "Odd Squad" and "Endlings". Prior to that HHD directed a series of shorts in Vancouver for the multiplatform division of the Disney Channel based on their series "Gabby Duran & the Unsittables". Heather has also directed short form narrative films including the micro short "I Don't Want Him Either" filmed in a volume studio and on a very successful festival run and the heartbreaking original film "Songbird" which won the 2020 People's Choice Award for favourite short at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival and was nominated for Best Drama at the Oxford International Short Film Festival in 2021. Heather began her successful directing career in factual/lifestyle/documentary and multi-camera talk/variety shows having directed on many popular formats for HGTV, W Network and CBC including more than 300 episodes of a multi-camera daily talk/variety show for CTV. HHD's first narrative series was the multi-camera teen sitcom from Thunderbird Entertainment "Some Assembly Required" for YTV.

Heather Hemmens is an American actress, film director and film producer. She is best known for her role as Alice Verdura in The CW series Hellcats (2010-2011) and currently stars in the Roswell reboot as Maria. Hemmens was raised in the woods of Maine with her two older brothers and older sister. Hemmens attended Mount View High School in Thorndike, Maine, before attending the performing arts high school Walnut Hill School for the Arts near Boston for her final two years of high school. She went to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career upon graduating. She has a black belt in martial arts and weapons training. In early career, Hemmens had small roles in the films The Dukes of Hazzard (2005) and Glory Road (2006).
