Hemali Juta-Pillay

Hemali Juta Pillay is a South African Actress currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is known for her roles in popular series such as Binneland, Isidingo and Ihawu. She also starred in the hit American series Homeland. Her movie credits include the award winning political drama, Freestate, Leon Schuster's Schucks Pay Back the Money, The Ellen Pakkies Story and African America. Hemali is a trained and experienced Voice Artist. She is often contracted for in-house corporate training videos and voice overs for corporate companies in South Africa. Furthermore, she has a vast degree of experience in radio and television commercials. She is a student of Kendo and Jodo. She trains in SSS (Street Survival System), ACT (Armed combat and Tactics) and has some experience in Krav Maga. She speaks English and a bit of Gujarati, Hindi and Afrikaans. She has an affinity for accents, in particular Standard British and Standard American.
