She resides in Los Angeles, CA as of 2005. She is an actress, singer and a producer. She is the second to youngest out of six siblings, and speaks multiple languages fluently. She speaks English, Swedish, and Farsi/Persian fluently, and medium level Spanish, Norwegian, and French. She studied Latin for two years at a private gymnasium in Göteborg, which she attributes to her strong linguistic roots. Hengi grew up as a performer, mainly as a singer, writer and a poet/spoken word artist. As a teenager she was published in a poetry anthology in Sweden, won a major music contest at the age of 17 and signed her first management deal the same year. A year later, she was broadcasting as a co-producer and VJ for Radio P3 in Sweden, and wrote journalistic pieces for Göteborgs-Posten. This awarded her an extended contract as a young writer, for the first time in the history of the newspaper. Her academic achievements include attending Santa Monica College for Psychology and Sociology, and Loyola Marymount University for yoga studies. She has also immersed herself in acting, human rights, spirituality, entrepreneurship, holistic therapies and the arts. Hengi got her start as an actress in Wonderland Murders, on Discovery Channel.
