Derek Wade best known as Hype South is a Producer, Director, Writer and former Podcaster based in Houston, TX. Starting his entertainment career in the music industry at 15 years old, he began touring Texas selling music at 17. He later on assisted on music video sets in 2011 and made his Director debut with the underground feature film Faces (2018) which he wrote, produced and edited that featured several Houston artists in the cast as well as soundtrack.
