KAAC has chapters in 16 states run by teens with global chapters in Belgium, Brazil, Greece, and Nepal. KAAC members are active in animal issues including banning puppy mills, closing down shelter gas chambers, the importance of spay and/or neuter and wildlife conservation. Lou is also lobbying to educate his generation on the importance of responsible pet ownership. With more than 50,000 KAAC members and partner coalitions, and celebrity support including: Betty White, Denise Richards and Joanna Krupa; KAAC is the fastest growing youth animal advocacy group in the nation. His music video/PSA "1Life2Live" was filmed at the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter in Los Angeles to raise awareness for millions of animals on death row in high-kill shelters. Lou is the National Youth Ambassador for The American Humane Association. He has been featured on CNN and National Geographic. When not busy acting, he works tirelessly finding homes for shelter animals and taking care of his eight rescue dogs. Lou is a 1st degree Black Belt, a swordsman, an equestrian, a martial artist, parkour enthusiast, and a longboarder. Lou motivates fellow teens and adults to stand up for change and is a role model and an inspiration to those around him.
