Stage Name Luing Andrews. Published Author with Pegasus Publishers. Born in Ham Richmond Surrey, Birth name Ian Andrew Luing Mason. British actor Luing Andrews began his career as a probational stunt man in the UK and directly after training was offered his first feature film 'Called Home', daring Luing not only acted in this exciting film but also performed his own stunts including a cliff fall and car crash! Luing mainly acts nowadays but does participate in some stunts including in acting roles he achieves. After being offered a place at the prestigious LAMDA and training at The ATS theatre school London 1989 & Passed a RADA summer pass with flying colours 1990 his love for acting grew and on graduation in 1993 Luing played roles such as Ash Williams alongside Amanda Burton in Silent Witness for UK television. He soon became a regular on British Television with prime-time shows like Whitechapel, Wings of Love, Afterlife, Footballers Wives, Green Green Grass, My Family and Worst Christmas of My Life. Luing enjoyed playing a gangster Lieutenant with Scott Maslen in the TV version of Lock Stock and Raz in the UK's number one soap Eastenders alongside the talented late great actor John Bardon. In one of his most heartfelt roles yet, Luing played biker with a heart Henry Swindell in the nations much loved hospital drama Casualty starring with the main cast. Films soon came calling and Luing was offered a role in The Heavy as a villain. Thomas Black in Flugel DE lie be'(Wings of Love). As well as Bronson, Football Factory, The Oxford Murders, The Pimp, and The Sculptress with Pauline Quirk. Filmed The Royal Bodyguard alongside the much-loved David Jason, playing a character who this time on the right side of the law PC Clive Roberts. Showing his comedic side in the upcoming British comedy Him and Her Luing plays the feisty father Colin and in contrast to his usual bad boy roles, was the guardian angel and face of Motor Cycle News for 2010 - 2013. Luing now regularly Acts both sides of the pond and recently filmed the 4 part sitcom Rick and Rat in Thailand. Luing is now a published author and has just had his first Novel '8ish' published by mainstream top publishing company Pegasus publishing company, the novel which is about a London Gangland Crime family with IRA connections. Luis Alberni
Spanish character actor Luis Alberni was born on October 4, 1886 in Cataluna Barcelona, Spain. His mother's maiden name was Malo, and his father was Judge John Alberni. Luis attended the University of Madrid and majored in Law. Bored with the prospects of long-winded trials, he ran away from home and joined a traveling circus in the south of France as a clown. It was around this time that he discovered his calling and began to get involved in acting. Intent on portraying dramatic characters, while acting in a Shakespearean play (Hamlet), the audience laughed and went hysterical. Due to the recognition he received, it was then that he decided to become a comedian. In 1914 he emigrated to the United States on board a ship as a steerage passenger and soon went on a traveling road show. Around 1919, he met and married a drawling debutante named Charlotte Hall. Eventually they had three sons together - John, Luis, and Carlos. Around 1938 while still married, he started seeing a blonde from Texas. He soon got divorced from Mrs. Charlotte and married that blonde; she would turn out to be his last wife, Wanda Wilson. Despite having a very tumultuous marriage, they managed to stay together throughout the remainder of his life. They had no children, but Wanda's grand-babies looked to Luis as a grandfather. Around his early to mid-seventies, Luis lived in a home for the elderly devoted to actors, the Motion Picture Television Fund in Woodland Hills most of whom were from the Screen Actors guild or Masquers club. Luis passed away on December 23, 1962 and was buried at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood, California. Now in recent years, Wanda Alberni's great-great-grandson actor Anthony Carrillo is developing a documentary on this great, great character actor's life; if you remember Luis at all, please contact Anthony.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Luis was brought to the U.S. by his parents on a boat during the 1980 Mariel Boat Lift. He went to High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and moved to California after joining the U.S. Navy. Luis now lives in Dallas, TX and is heavily involved in animal rescues. He is also a foster dad to cats and dogs.

On film making: He has delivered many multifacetic roles on international films, getting his first co-starring role on the film "Carmín Tropical" 2015, by Rigoberto Pérezcano, role that led Luis Alberti to his first nomination by the Mexican Film Academy (AMACC), to the 2015 "Ariel award" as Best supporting actor, and the CANACINE "Luminus Award" as Revelation actor. He is also co-starring the latest Peter Greenaway's film "Eisenstein in Guanajuato" released in the official selection of the Berlin international film festival "Berlinale 2015". In 2020 he won the Best actor "Ariel award" by the Mexican Film academy (AMACC), and the Morelia's international film festival 2019 "Eye award" to the best actor, for his lead role on the film produced by Michele Franco and Eréndira Núñez: "Workforce" directed by David Zonana.
