Lauren Roman was born in Wilmington, North Carolina to a Marine Corps family, and grew up in North Carolina and Virginia. While she was an honor student at Langley High School, she landed her first professional acting job at age 15 with the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC.
