Lala Barlow

Lala has been based in London since 2016 and has recently moved back to her hometown of Melbourne Australia. She trained at Federation University (formally BAPA) and Monash University in Melbourne. Lala is best known for her comedic character roles and crossover into theatre, cabaret and live performance. Lala appeared as pop sensation 'Katy Perry' on the hilarious ABC satiric comedy GET KRACK!N starring Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney (2019). She will appear as Student 3 in the thriller short film The Riddle (2019) directed by Yael Ella and as Rhonda in Mating Season (2019). Lala is soon to be seen playing the exotic role of Rosina in Bardo (2019) produced by Feature One Productions and Directed by Ben O'Connor. Filming for this feature film took place in London in April 2018. Lala wrote and co-performs musical comedy cabaret The Worst Little Warehouse in London. It was work-shopped at Above the Arts Theatre in London's West End and performed a full season on the Assembly Stages as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2018). The show received five star reviews and was nominated for Musical Theatre Review's 'Best Musical' Award' and 'Favourite Cabaret' at the BroadwayWorld Edinburgh Fringe Festival Awards. Lala won the 2019 Adelaide Fringe Weekly Award for Best Cabaret (2019) and will be taking the show to London in May 2019 in addition to a UK tour. Commercially, Lala has represented Heineken (2017) and also appeared in the Music Video EP 'Over it by Now' for Norfolk based pop rock band, the Young States (2017). Short Films include Wizard by Lewis Jones (2017), The Driver by Gabriel Cunningham (2017) and The Stroke (2017), written and directed by Morgane Polanski and produced by Incognita Films. The Stroke is part of the official selection for the BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival in 2018. In London, Lala appeared as the Bearded Lady in the highly acclaimed UK Premiere of Side Show at the Southwark Playhouse starring Wicked's Louise Dearman and Olivier Award Nominee Laura Pitt-Pulford. Produced by Paul Taylor Mills and directed by Hannah Chissick, Side Show was nominated for Best Off West End Production in the 17th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards in 2017 and was met with immense international acclaim. She appeared as the ditzy and dramatic Dolly Tate in Annie Get Your Gun at the New Union Theatre in Southwark, directed by Kirk Jameson and choreographed by Ste Clough. Phil Willmott from London Box Office gave Lala's performance tremendous praise, concluding "Lala Barlow makes the comedic most of her every moment onstage as Dolly, a bullying rival to our heroine". Lala then went on to originate the role of Natalie in the Workshop season of A Kind of Love (now Tainted) at the White Bear Theatre in London; Music and Lyrics by Marc Almond and directed by Bryan Hodgson. She played the role of Mrs Ortranto in the Workshop showing of Island at the Phoenix Artists Club and toured regional England as Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk, directed by Christian Durham. Prior to moving to London, Lala joined the cast of Terror Byte at the iconic Melbourne Cabaret institution Draculas as their comedienne and charismatic leading lady Androgyny. She toured regional Victoria in 2015, playing the dynamic lead of Sheila in Hair, and played the role of Jeanie in their highly acclaimed Melbourne season at Chapel off Chapel. Lala has toured Australia extensively, performing as Pink in The Pink Show, Janet in tribute show The Rocking Horror Show and performed at the Mackay Burlesque Festival and Dirty Martini's as the comedic and quirky Harajuku inspired Lady Lala. She appeared as Tony in Strut and Fret's 'spooftastic' production of North Side Story which enjoyed two seasons as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, at both the North Melbourne Town Hall and the Melba Spiegeltent. Lala also appeared at the Melbourne Recital Centre as a Storyteller in Children of Eden during the 2013 Stephen Schwartz 'Tryptich', attended and rehearsed by the composer himself. In addition to her career as a performer, Lala is also a sought after Choreographer, Musical Director and Vocal Coach, teaching at Arts Educational Schools, The Urdang Academy and READ College in London and St Michaels Grammar School in Melbourne. She Musically Directed the 2016 Green Room Award Nominated Tick Tick Boom! which premiered at The Loft at Chapel off Chapel; produced by Pursued by Bear and directed by Paul Watson.

Lala Costa is a Puerto Rican born actor, playwright, and creator of The Imagen Award Nominated LalisimaTV, a sketch and web series channel. She trained with Yale School of Drama MFA and Acting Faculty Member, Gregory Berger-Sobeck, at The Berg Studios. While attending The Berg Studios and after several monologue exercises, Lala was encouraged by Berg to write her own monologues, which led her to write and create her one woman show, "Calling Lala: A One Woman-Broadway-Adjacent-Boricua-Show." In 2016, Lala's one woman show "Calling Lala" was accepted into New York's United Solo Theatre Festival. United Solo is the worlds largest solo festival held in the heart of New York's Theatre District on 42nd Street at the prestigious Theatre Row.

The internet sensation turned actress that you may formerly know as "LaLaSizaHands89" now LaLa Milan has way more to her than just a great personality and sense of humor! LaLa, was born in Charleston, SC on October 24, 1989. Shortly after, her parents relocated to Pittsburgh, PA where she was raised up until middle school. Charlotte, North Carolina was the next stop. From there, LaLa attended E. E. Waddell Highschool and graduated in 2007. While in high school she participated in cheer-leading and track and field. Upon completion of high school she went to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received her Bachelors of Arts in Spanish. Three days after walking across the stage she relocated to Atlanta, GA where she attended Empire Beauty School. She became a licensed cosmetologist, worked in retail for two years then switched to the insurance industry. After working for AllState for a little over two years, she was able to leave her job and focus solely on her entertainment career via Instagram. LaLa is constantly working hard to make a name for herself in hopes of growing into something much larger than life itself!
