Having started his involvement with the performing arts as a thespian, he has acted in, Directed and or Produced about 60 plays of every genre, over a 44 year career. He has worked with every major theatre Production company in the Country and performed overseas as well. Adam made his film acting debut in a cameo role in Uberto Passolini's award winning 'Machan' and has acted in 8 films to date, including one with Sir Ben Kingsley and a Bollywood movie ("Bombay Velvet") with Ranbhir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. He co-produced the International award winning films 'With You, Without You" (for which he received a personal nomination at the APSA Awards in Brisbane, Australia) and "The Strange Familiar". Adam is a regular judge at national Drama Competitions and was awarded the TOYP (Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Sri Lanka) Award in Sri Lanka and the 'Synergy in Theatrum' merit award, both for outstanding contribution to Drama and Literature. Adam was selected for the Open Doors Lab at the Locarno Film Festival, Switzerland in 2017.
