Preston Christopher Lawrence was born in Harlem, New York. As a child Preston fell in love with the performing arts. He started out his acting in junior high school. Where he was apart of an acting troupe that went to other schools performing for other kids and warning them about some of the temptations in the world. Preston has appeared in such television shows as Quantico (2018), Manifest (2019), FBI (2021). Preston was a cast member of the NAACP Image Awards nomination for Outstanding Drama Series (PowerBook ll: Ghost). Preston appears in Season 1 in a recurring role as Owl, he runs a bar which is also a drug front & stash house, from time to time he doesn't mind getting his hands dirty as an enforcer for the Tejada family. Preston has also played the Lead role in the comedy short The Baby as Preston Walters. The Baby was nominated for 6 awards in multiple film festivals and won 2 and Preston was nominated for for Best Actor for Genre Celebration Festival. Preston also had a budding stand up career but took a step back to pursue acting. He's also currently training for stunts.
