John Patrick Dortch was born the youngest of 8 children to parents Bill and Jean Dortch in Nashville, TN. He attended Father Ryan High School, where he began acting in school plays and local productions, as well as singing in local bands in the Nashville area. After graduating from high school, Pat attended Vanderbilt University and continued being a part of the music scene in the Southeast. After graduating from Vanderbilt, Pat married his high school sweetheart, Rachel Warner. Shortly after, they moved to Charlotte, NC. He soon signed with Monarch Talent Agency, and landed his first television role on Army Wives. Pat lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife Rachel and their three children, Maddie, Jack and Grace. Pat now runs The Actor's Lab in Charlotte, NC and has been seen on House of Cards, McGyver, Nashville, and other network television shows and commercials throughout the Southeast. He has also written and directed his own award winning pilot, Limbo, featuring other notable actors throughout the Southeast such as Drew Starkey, Gary Weeks, Lacy Camp, Javon Johnson, and Kyle Riggs.

Pat Dwyer
Born in Baton Rouge, the youngest of four boys, he grew up in the small Suburban town of Flower Mound, Texas. As a 5th grader, he was cast in a local community theatre production that chronicled the history in music of Flower Mound - Sweet Flower Mound Land (which was in fact voted best original work in Texas for America's Bicentennial.) Pat continued to pursue juvenile roles in community theatre for the remainder of his tweens & teens. While in college, he also worked in local area community and Semi-Professional theaters in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro Area and played a variety of roles while working to earn points toward membership in Actors Equity (Stage Actors Union). Majoring in Theatre at NTSU (now UNT) he met his future husband, Stephen Mosher, and together they opted to leave school. Beginning his career alongside fellow Texas cohorts, Brent Anderson, Todd Terry and John S. Davies, Pat took on roles on Stage and in a variety of TV commercials, extra spots and whatever work could be found that would pay. His regional theatre appearances include: Cabaret, Eastern Standard, Twelfth Night and The Mouse Trap. His appearance as an Air force Airman accused of rape on the TV game show/courtroom drama, Guilty or Innocent (1984), marked his first major speaking role on nationally syndicated television. The Andy Anderson feature; Positive I.D. (1986), which also featured Fellow Texas alumni Lauren Lane, was his first film appearance. Pat and Stephen Mosher, moved to New York City in 1993 where Pat retired from acting for 15 years. The couple still lives in New York City and, after that 15 year stint in the advertising industry, Pat has returned to pursuing acting. In 2011 The couple celebrated 25 years together by traveling the US and getting married in every state that would legally allow them to do so. The documentary film about their wedding tour is titled Married and Counting (2013).
