Ryan Dewar
Ryan is a multi-skilled director in theatre and film/TV production with additional experience in editing, graphics and cinematography. He has created work for Red Bull, STV, BBC and international TV and recently directed Christmas in the Highlands for US and European television with another upcoming TV thriller film shooting in winter 2020. Ryan has directed multiple shorts and domestic commercial and theatre promotions along with two independent feature films which garnered international awards for best director and best film. In theatre and tours Ryan has work on 50+ productions in various capacities including director and AV designer. Most recently and notably on The Steamie at the SSE Hydro, Arena show as camera director; A/D and AV designer. Other credits include media designs for the official 'Wicked' and 'Kinky Boots' UK Tours, John Byrnes Cuttin a Rug and the 30th Anniversary of the Steamie and the Steamie at the Hydro.

Ryan was born in Anaconda Montana to Rev. Joseph and Paula Dillon. In 1984 the Dillon family relocated to Auburn, Washington. In Auburn, Ryan started a small career at the age of 10 modeling for Nordstrom as well as other local retailers. At the same time, Ryan started acting in his father's church performing in various plays including "Godspell" and "He lived the Good Life". After graduating from Auburn Senior High School, Ryan moved to Southern California and enrolled at Marymount College in Palos Verdes. Within two months of moving to Los Angeles, he signed with a talent agent and started working in high-profile music videos and TV commercials. Having come close to booking some major leading roles in Varsity Blues (1999), Coach Carter (2005) and Spartacus: Blood and Sand (2010), Ryan took a break from Los Angeles and moved to Phoenix, AZ where he was signed by a local Modeling Agency and had success modeling for Dillard's, Neiman Marcus, Sacks 5th Ave and walking for Giorgio Armani. Being called back to Los Angeles. Ryan has acted in many independent films such as the award-winning feature Mercy (2003) written and directed by his close friend John Fitzpatrick. Ryan also had a lead in the AFI, Gotham, and Spirit Award-winning feature Littlerock (2010). In 2014 he served as producer and actor in John Fitzpatrick's acclaimed horror short Skypemare (2013) which starred longtime friend Cerina Vincent. Ryan continues to work with his 'Skypemare' creative team producing and featuring in both Brentwood Strangler (2015) and the monthly thriller series Scary Endings (2015). An avid supporter of Animal Rights, he resides in Los Angeles and continues to enjoy challenging himself and audiences to look at life from different perspectives.
