Ryan McDermott is a BBC 3 Funny Hunt award-winning writer/director who in 2009 started his career by co-writing and produced one of the UK's most successful horror comedy short films, the multi-award-winning Mark Macready and the Archangel Murders. After the film screened at festivals across the globe including Cannes & New York, Ryan went on to secure a London literary agent and co-write two drafts of a feature film version for Magnet Films. In 2013, Ryan set up his own production company "Gone Shootin' Films" and produced STAFF ROOM, an independent sitcom pilot. A trailer for the pilot was released online and soon went viral racking up over 25,000 hits which lead to the show receiving a 5 episode commission. Ryan has just co-written and directed the first series of Staff Room, which is now in post production and will be released in late 2014.

Ryan McDonald is an award winning actor, director, writer and producer. His film work has been featured in the San Antonio Film Festival, the Orlando Film Slam Festival, the Salty Horror Film Festival, and the Salt Lake 48 Hour Film Festival. He is also the host for the Annual Ogden's Big Lebowski Festival and the Elvis Rocks Ogden annual event. He has been making short films since he was 15 years old and in 2009 he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor degree in Film, and Minor in Mass Communication. In 2011 Ryan McDonald, along with childhood friend Jason White, helped create the New Ogden Cinema, a local cinema group from the Ogden area with a focus on indie-film making and bringing independent filmmakers together for production. Ryan was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He took his first tap class at 6 years old, igniting a passion for all dance styles. Ryan has trained extensively in street styles at Edmonton's Kore Dance Studio under the direction of Alexander Chung where their team won the Canadian Hip Hop Championship and placed top ten at the subsequent Hip Hop International competition. During Ryan's senior year, he extended his training at Monsters Dance Convention and studios across Los Angeles. He was also proud to receive Kore's Outstanding Male Dancer Award and the Artists Emerge Scholarship. Ryan is excited to have signed with da Costa Talent and continue pursuing his career.
