Abigail Van Patten
Abigail Rose Van Patten is a North American actress based in the Midwest. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on September, 29th, 1995 to Laura Van Patten, a stay at home mother, and James Van Patten, a store manager. She has two younger sisters, Grace and Emma, as well as a younger brother, Andrew. Abigail obtained her B.A. in Psychology and the Study of Religion from the University of Northern Iowa (2018). She is to obtain her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (May 2021).
Her career began at Cedar Falls High School, acting in many plays and musicals both in the drama and speech departments and continuing at the community theatre after her college graduation. During this time, Abigail had her feature film acting debut in Dark Thoughts (2016). She was then cast as Kate Marsh in What If? A (Fan-Made) 'Life is Strange' Story (2017), which is based off of a video-game. What If? went on to garner over 400,000 views on Youtube.
She was then discovered by comedian and filmmaker Don Tjernagel of Donzilla Inc. She was cast in BROS. On the Rocks (2018), BROS. last Call (2018) which have sold out multiple times on Amazon. Abigail has since been cast in RED (2019), Love Struck Sick (2019), and The Moving On Phase (2020) directed by Don Tjernagle and Matt Lee Ingebritson, an upcoming horror film.
