Bruce Blackshear
Bruce Blackshear is an American Film and Television actor who is known for his extreme passion, and tremendous desire to succeed and helping those around him do the same. He made his feature film debut as the character Taylor, in the box office hit "Rampage" 2018, starring Dewayne "The Rock" Johnson, followed by the feature film, "The Darkest Minds ", starring Amandla Steinberg. Bruce is quickly gaining notoriety and earning a name for himself as an up and coming actor committed to being passionate and bringing each character he portrays to life. He can also be seen in television shows such as, "Valor", "Underground", "Sleepy Hollow " and the hit show "Greenleaf".
Originally from Jacksonville Fl, he joined the military, which allowed him to travel and see vast places around the world. He experienced many different cultures and walks of life which helped him to broaden his vision of himself and life as he sees it. After an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy, he then began to pursue his burning desire for acting, which had been a passion of his since grade school. It was in middle school, where he first began doing stage plays and taking drama classes. After struggling for a while to find his way, he moved to Atlanta, Ga in 2010. Once settled in Atlanta, Bruce discovered a vastly growing acting community and knew immediately he found his niche. He then began training relentlessly and devoting a 110% to his craft and passion for the arts.
In his spare time, he loves being with family and also devoting time to work with at-risk youth. He is committed to their success and them understanding that anything is possible. His aspirations are to continue to grow professionally and to one day reach a status in Hollywood that will enable him to reach millions and have a positive impact on the world.
