Farhad Mann
An award-winning director/writer in both feature films and television. He has a Masters Film Degree with Distinction earned at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where Farhad's student film, Frames, won an Emmy and 17 international First Place awards, including at the New York Film Festival. Lee Strasberg saw Frames on Showtime and invited Farhad to study in his Masters Program where Farhad directed several theatrical productions.
Farhad created the visual effects, wrote and directed the feature film, Lawnmower Man 2 for New Line Cinema. He directed the critically acclaimed Face of Fear, the Dean Koontz best-selling novel and MOW for CBS.
Max Headroom, Farhad's pilot, which received top-notch ratings, was picked up by ABC and won several Emmy's. His next pilot, Knight Watch, was picked up by ABC and a third pilot he directed, Nick Knight, which became the long-running Forever Knight, was picked up by CBS.
Farhad's commercials, for top-drawer clients including Pepsi, Toyota, McDonalds, Coors, American Express, Chevrolet, Budweiser, Coke and others, won fifty-seven international awards, including three Clio Awards, Chicago Film Festival, the IBA Award and the New York Film Festival.
Farhad is presently in post production on his feature, Love Orchard. He just completed the opener of The Listener, episodes of Degrassi and My Babysitter is a Vampire for Disney. Farhad directed The Devil's Diary, which became the highest rated Movie-of-the-Week of that year, as well as directing several shows for the Sci-Fi Channel, the internationally acclaimed Regenesis, and the award winning Murdoch, now in it's sixth season.
