A director, editor and screenwriter hailing from the celebrated city of Kumbh Mela, Allahabad with dreams of making it big in this industry since childhood. Meet Hemant N Mishra, born in 21st oct. 1989 in Prayagraj. The UP boy who can rightly be called a Mumbaikar now. He started his journey in tinsel town in the last decade in 2009 as a freelance Film and T.V. editor and went on to work for two years in that profile before making the big switch. Hemant N Mishra started directing popular TV series since 2011 like Dil Dosti Dance, Beintehaan, Humsafars, Peterson Hill, Tash-e-Isqh, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Bhootu and many more. He has written and directed various short films for Film Festivals across the globe which according to him, helped him immensely while preparing for his first feature film. Presently, his debut directorial venture which he shot completely in his hometown Prayagraj. The film is titled "Black Rose" and revolves around a murder mystery that never happened. The film stars popular actors like Samikssha Bhatnagar , Jayshankar Tripathi and Shivangi Verma in the leads and released on 16 april 2021 shemaroome. The digital wave of OTT platforms in India has affected the audience in Hemant too. He is sketching interesting concepts into stories for various web platforms and hopes to work soon in that platform as well.
