Lata S. Singh
Lata S Singh is an Indian actor. Her film acting roles (non-verbal/verbal) ranges from a sex worker in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi to a Nun in English feature film Mother Teresa & Me, a slum-dwelling vegetable seller in upcoming Hindi feature film Mai Gayatri Jadhav, a village theatre actor in 2019 National Award winner (Best Short Film on Family Values) Chalo Jeete Hain, a Bengali wife in Koyelaanchal who is stripped naked as a punishment of her husband's Dalit Uprising movement and one-arm girl in Gulaab Gang - a group of fierce-rebel women led by none other than Madhuri Dixit. Lata comes from New Delhi where she performed more than 400 street plays with AAP's student wing CYSS. She now resides in Mumbai.
Lata's theatre training had been a roller-coaster.
