Luis Bordonada
Luis Bordonada is an American actor. He enlisted in the U.S Army immediately after graduating High School and served in the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper. After serving, He started his theatre education under the guidance of Prof. Hector Serrano, founder of Viva El Paso and Shakespeare on The Rocks Theater Festival. His first break in film came from the Hughes Brothers and their film, The Book of Eli. In the same year Luis was cast as the lead in the award winning independent film, Ilegales (Illegal), for which he earned a Best Actor Award in Chicago's Naperville Independent Film Festival. He has had recurring roles FX's The Bridge, AMC's Better Call Saul, A&E's Longmire. Luis plays Nelson Herrera on Starz' new critically acclaimed series, Vida. He recently wrapped on the show's third season due for release on the Spring of 2020. He will next star alongside Melissa Barrera, Jackie Cruz and Jorge Garcia in Ryan Lacen's debut feature film All The World is Sleeping.
Luis is the son of a retired U.S Army Staff Sergeant, Alexander Bordonada, who served three combat tours in Vietnam and Korea. This made his portrayal as Charlie Burroughs in the feature film SGT Will Gardner his most intimate role to date.
